Why Did He Kill All Those Children?

I still say the root problem in the case no one addresses is bad parenting. This mother not only allowed a trouble child to play violent video games but introduced him to real guns and then left them in the house unsecured. These were all poor decisions by which she paid too with her life.

Yes true but it still doesn't get at the heart of the matter in the Newtown case. Bad parenting. This mother knew she had a troubled son and yet introduced him to guns and kept several unsecured in the house. Really really dumb move. The mother finally did pay with her life but common sense should've told her this is not a good decision to have guns and ammo in a house with a troubled son. No one anywhere is talking about that.

Wrong Answers for Mass Shootings

No body ever makes mention anywhere I've seen or heard about the parent's and gun owner's responsibility in taking care to secure their firearms. The mother in the Newtown shooting knew her son was troubled and yet introduced him to guns and then apparently didn't secure them properly either. No instead again politicians and others want the gov't to be the parent.
