Right on! But you aren't the only Alaskan on this forum....I already put my 2 cents in already....and notice something? It's those 'outsiders' who don't know a dang thing about Alaska who make the loudest and most absurd claims to know so much about is up here. We're not afraid of hard work. We prefer to work and be independent. I was here looong before statehood, and we were second class citizens then, and we still are. Nothing has changed. But I keep hoping and working. Then she had to go to 'write-in', and one day it will show there was some hanky panky murky ('scuse the pun) stuffs that went on there. Remember...not ALL of us voted for her. You said just about what I was going to writte about...thanks, but you left one thing out...her salary she earned while 'himself' was a senator? That job was created for her at such a salary, it was sinful....she truly didn't earn it...and when 'himself' was promoted to 'first man', her job closed down and she was not replaced on the job. More butter on their bread...while we eat cake......pooshai.......

O. Sure got that right...and in the courts the judges who favor women (especially those who play around on their husbands while they're overseas in Iraq/Afganistan, etc....get away with murder...we know first hand. The family is broken up, the father penalized because he 'wasn't home' 24/7, etc...and the children who adored their dad are taken away from him. There aught to be laws that protect the hardworking and family involved fathers...Courts and the laws are beginning to be very destructive to the American way of life of home, family, and church... This opinion from a Blue Star Mother and "they also serve who stand and wait" veteran of WWII, Korea, Vietnam and iraq...
