A free ride for all the illegals. 100% amnesty. An insult to all legal immigrants. Without secrre borders this will start a stampede of millions more looking to cash in on the instant free ride, welfare, food stamps, and free medical. This is an insult to all legal citizens and should be fought at all costs. Of course,it guarantees at least 11 million new Democrat voters.

There aren't "11 million" illegal aliens living in the shadows, there are closer to 50 million. Remember, not all the illegals were amnestied in 1986, about 5 million were left over. So, add those to the 2+ million, or so, net illegals that have arrived each year since 1988 when the amnesty period was over and you easily have 50 million illegals looking to take advantage of the proposed amnesty. Remember, for every illegal alien caught at the border between 3-5 (on average) make it through to the cities. Since no president since 1988 has caught and/or deported over 3 million illegals per year, we continue to accumulate illegal aliens -- like compounding interest, it tends to add up over a quarter of a century.

UPDATE: During an interview on The Ed Morrissey Show, Rubio said he would not support any legislation that does not guarantee enforcement and border security before the Green Card process starts.

"We have to make sure this law is structured in a way that guarantees enforcement," Rubio said, adding if we don't do both, enforcement and citizenship, we'll see another wave of undocumented people in the future.

Legislation is expected in March and possibly introduced to the Senate floor in April. President Obama will release his plan for immigration reform tomorrow.
