I am in a win/win positon. If the Republicans gain some control, win the presidency, they will be hard pressed to slow my nation's decline, but they will slow it, and only time will tell. If Obama wins re-election, allowed to keep his denizens in place, that will hurry this nation into fullfilling the negative aspect of Lincoln's (and Sam Houston's) words, "A house divided against itself cannot stand." Lincoln continued, "It will become all one thing or all the other." If we become either of those, the great experiment will be over. and we can return to the peasant life of the rest of the world. Heath care problems will disapear, because we will no longer live so long, as an example.
