Democrats seem to think that Bill Clinton ran a great economy. He actually added to the federal deficit every year and never, repeat never, had a surplus. Clinton also started taxing Social Security in 1993 and spent our Social Security money like water. Clinton drastically weakened our military and our intelligence capabilities by reducing their funding. A Clinton appointee, Jaime Gorelick, built the wall between the FBI and the CIA which greatly helped the 9/11 terrorists. Clinton also handed Bush a fairly severe recession. Clinton did do one thing good. He showed all men an innovative sex toy called a cigar.

The editorial staff of the Washington Post, surely meant well. They wanted readers to think that Sen. John Kerry’s vast experience in foreign policy over four decades equips him to serve as Secretary of State in the second Obama administration.

The editorial, titled “John Kerry: Well-suited to be Secretary of State,” gets that part right. The natty Mr. Kerry certainly looks the part of a globe-trotting senior U.S. diplomat.
