All those negatives were caused by Teapublicans not coming to the table, sitting it out and hoping for fail.

See, there you go, an article referencing FACTS, and you supply "talking point." The Democrats controlled Congress from 2006 to 2010...that includes 2 of the 3.5 years President Obama has been "in charge." Remember the dead of night passage of Obamacare? Democratic Congress "voted" ( I use that word loosely) it in. So what is your excuse for the lack of a budget during that time period? Also, with regards to the President's recent attempt at a budget, NO ONE, read that again, NO ONE in Congress agreed with it. No Independent, No Republican, No Democrat. So quit blaming others for lack of leadership. It is his JOB, and he didn't do it.
The challenge for modern-day campaigns is that the rapid speed of the news cycle ensures that new news is created on a daily basis, even when it is not really news. Blame the hunger for something novel and fresh that can eat up time on the 24-hour cable news channels.

Think of today's news organizations as insatiable beasts whose ravenous appetites constantly need more and more news bites, and more analysis about those news bites. The desire for more content for their viewers and readers means that they deem everything new to be newsworthy, or at least newsworthy enough...
