Where did you get that figure? That's just a stereotype of the old man in overcoat. There is no data to suggest that gender plays any role in addiction or homelessness - except that increasingly women (addicted or no) are likely to be homeless with their children whose biological fathers will not or cannot support. Look, men and women both have tough roles. This is getting off track.
