I like your honest counselor. I'm a woman of the late 60s Free Love Generation. We started this phenomenon of giving sex away for free. What a huge scam we perpetrated on ourselves. The results have been predictable - meaningless sex, children without parents, no families. And I agree that it is a woman who needs to demand the best of a man. They (men) are out there. These trends are cyclical. The flappers of the Twenties, fresh from the horrors of World War I, also sold their bodies cheaply. The Victorian Age was a reaction against the salaciousness of the Regency, itself a byproduct of the Napoleonic wars. What has changed is the degradation of the welfare-for-votes mindset, a perversion of the democratic ideal, predicted by Aristotle 2300 years ago. Marx and his followers be damned: human nature does not change, at least within the brief lifespan of a few generations. Promiscuity is natural. Responsibility is what the general culture inculcates.
