Zimmerman Verdict

(image) After two days of deliberations, the all-female jury in the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin case found the defendant not guilty on all charges. Zimmerman was a neighborhood watch guard who was charged with second-degree murder for killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, the former claiming he acted in self defense. The non-guilty verdict has prompted a number of protests across the country.
