NFL and ObamaCare

(image) In mulling over potential partnerships with professional sports leagues as a way to boost ObamaCare’s popularity, the federal government contacted sports leagues such as the NFL, the NBA and MLB to promote insurance options under the new healthcare act. In response, Senate Republicans penned letters to the major sports leagues to urge them to reject the Obama administration’s appeal. The NFL recently decided not to promote the controversial legislation.
