The U.S. Consulate Attack in Libya

On September 11th, protests erupted at the U.S. embassy in Cairo over an amateur film that mocked the Prophet Muhammad. Later Tuesday evening an angry mob of protesters with guns and rocket propelled grenades stormed the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, ostensibly protesting the same video. Four were killed in the attack; U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three American members of his staff.
