In a Friday, July 26, 2013 photo, DNR’s David Beveridge and snake handler James Dix removes snake terrariums after a house fire, in Clearfield, Utah. Firefighters discovered 28 snakes Friday at a Clearfield duplex when they responded to a kitchen fire. Officials say the man took care of his snakes, but he didn’t have a permit for six venomous snakes. The six poisonous snakes were confiscated by the Utah Division of Wildlife. Capt. Tony Wood of that agency says he’s trying to decide what to do with the snakes and whether to file any charges against the owner.
