Loved ones embrace as the casket of U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg is transferred to an Amtrak train en route to Washington D.C. during a Color Guard ceremony at the Frank R. Lautenberg Rail Station Wednesday, June 5, 2013, in Secaucus, N.J. Lautenberg, a Democrat from New Jersey, died Monday at age 89 of complications from viral pneumonia. He was remembered at his funeral at a New York City synagogue Wednesday as a tenacious champion of several causes including the environment and mass transit.
