A federal appeals court on Thursday, March 14, 2013 threw out the convictions of Debra Jean Milke, who was sentenced to death in the notorious 1989 killing of her 4-year-old son, ruling that the case was tainted by a detective with a history of lying under oath. The two men convicted in the Milke's case, Styers and Roger Scott, are both on death row at a prison in Florence. (AP Photo/The Arizona Republic, Dana Leonard) MARICOPA COUNTY OUT; MAGS OUT; NO SALES
