FILE - In this June 30, 2011 file photo a protester walks in front of a banner with the famous Solidarity trade union logo with Polish diacritical marks. Polish language experts have launched a campaign, Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 as part of the UNESCO International Mother Language Day, to preserve the challenging system of its diacritical marks, saying the tails, dots and strokes are becoming obsolete under the pressure of IT and speed. The word below the logo means Silesia in Polish, also with a diacritical mark. (AP Photo/Alik Keplicz, File)
