This undated image provided by Ford's Theatre shows the interior of the theater in Washington D.C. where President Lincoln was shot while attending a play in 1865. Within 16 months of the assassination, the theater was closed and the federal government turned the building into office space, but it became a working theater again in the 1960s and the interior was recreated to show what it looked like the night Lincoln was shot. The box on the left draped with flags is where Lincoln and his wife were sitting. Ford's is one of a number of Lincoln sites that can be visited in Washington.
