FILE - In a Wednesday, May 2, 2012 file photo, Sherrie Shorten addresses the media after a Child Protection Court hearing in Conroe, Texas. Child Protective Services officials are expected to recommend a judge dismiss the welfare agency's case against Mark and Sherrie Shorten in court Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, allowing the couple to regain full custody of their 12-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son. The children were found by a postal worker living in an abandoned school bus while Shorten and her husband were in prison for embezzling money from victims of 2008’s Hurricane Ike.
