Congress has approved a request by Correa to take a month long leave of absence to focus on his 2013 re-election campaign. For more than a century, Ecuador limited presidents to single terms, but the constitution was changed in 2008 to enable re-election. Correa will run for another presidential term in elections scheduled for Feb. 17, 2013. (AP Photo/Dolores Ochoa, File)
