Members of the media photograph FBI agents and New York City police officers remove concrete to sift through for evidence from a New York City apartment building where they were searching a basement for clues in the 1979 disappearance of Etan Patz April 20, 2012. Police in New York City spent a second day on Friday tearing up the basement floor of a building in a downtown Manhattan neighborhood where a six-year-old Patz disappeared more than three decades ago. Police declined to say if there were new suspects in the case, but the New York Times quoted an unnamed law enforcement official as saying that authorities were looking at whether a handyman who used a workshop in the basement killed the boy and buried him there.
