General Electric Co, which helped to build Japan's crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, has vowed to provide $10 million in aid and long-term support to deal with the nuclear crisis, Kyodo News Agency reported on Monday. Immelt, on a visit to Japan, has told Tokyo Electric Power Co Ltd (TEPCO), the operator of the plant, that GE would help the utility to supply electricity in the coming months when demand soars.
