North Korea said on Tuesday it would take military action if the South continued to violate its waters off the peninsula's west coast. The two Koreas have been in a tense standoff over a disputed maritime border in the Yellow Sea which was the scene of a torpedo attack that sank a South Korean navy ship in March.
