A woman walks with her net as she catches snails in the shallow waters of the drought affected lake of Poyang near Yugan, Jiangxi province, March 10, 2008. Poyang Lake, the biggest freshwater lake in China and a reservoir for the Yangtze River, is suffering from a dramatic drought where the area of the lake was up to 10 times larger last year than this year's figure, the Jiangxi hydrological bureau said. The reasons for the changes in the lake are controversial, ranging from global warming to dams upstream. Meanwhile locals are suffering from a loss of income and the ecosytems of the lake have also been affected. REUTERS/Nir Elias (CHINA)
