A U.S. soldier and Iraqi security forces inspect the wreckage of a vehicle used in a car bomb attack in Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, December 5, 2007. A parked car bomb targeted the convoy of a police commander, Brigadier-General Kakamen Hameed, in southern Kirkuk, police and hospital sources said.
