MEXICO CITY (AP) — A fire is ripping through Mexico City's biggest traditional marketplace, known as the Merced.
Television images show smoke pouring into the sky above the downtown market that includes hundreds of stands selling food, clothing and other goods. The Televisa network says firefighters are still struggling to control the blaze.
It is not immediately clear if there are injuries.
