Federal authorities in Puerto Rico have arrested a convicted bank robber once featured on the TV show "America's Most Wanted."
A Tuesday statement from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection says Walid Hassan Abdulla was arrested at Puerto Rico's international airport Saturday night after arriving on a flight from Venezuela.
The agency says Abdulla will soon be extradited to Illinois, where he is wanted on charges of violating probation.
Abdulla was first arrested in Los Angeles in January 2000. In 2002, he was convicted in Illinois for a 1995 bank robbery and sentenced to 97 months in prison.
