The quake:
_unleashed energy equivalent to 550 million Hiroshima atomic explosions;
_ Left more than 1.7 million homeless;
_ Caused damage estimated at $10 billion;
_ Drew more than $13 billion in international aid. More than 700 groups aided reconstruction in Indonesia's Aceh province, the hardest-hit.
