In the Southeast, coastal showers and thunderstorms were to continue. The Southwest was to see showers and thunderstorms with monsoon moisture. Heavy downpours with strong gusts and flooding was predicted in many desert areas. The West Coast was to continue seeing mostly clear skies, except for some coastal fog and low clouds.
