NEW YORK (AP) — A reputed Mafia boss and another defendant have been found guilty of racketeering conspiracy and other counts but acquitted in the killing of an NYPD officer.A jury in Brooklyn federal court rendered the mixed verdict Wednesday in the trial of Thomas "Tommy Guns" Gioeli and Dino "Little Dino" Saracino.Gioeli is the alleged former boss of the Colombo crime family and Saracino is a reputed mob soldier.They were accused in the brutal slayings of six victims including an off-duty police officer. Officer Ralph Dols was killed in 1997.
