President Barack Obama is raising campaign cash in Vermont, one of the most reliably Democratic states in the country, as well as in Maine.
Obama will hold two events Friday afternoon in Burlington, Vt. He will speak at a small lunch for supporters and a large rally at the University of Vermont.
The president will later travel to Portland, Maine, for a fundraising reception and a dinner.
The starting price for tickets to Obama's events range from $44 for students and other young people to $7,500.
Obama's four events are his last fundraisers before Saturday's monthly and quarterly campaign fundraising deadline. The president raised $45 million for his re-election bid last month.
