FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) — An Arizona sheriff's office says they've arrested a man in a significant drug seizure just two weeks after he was deported for his involvement with a major drug trafficking ring in the state. The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says that Francisco Guillermo Morales Esquer was arrested Oct. 13 in one of three busts that officials credited with dismantling the smuggling ring, which is believed to be tied to the Sinaloa cartel — Mexico's most powerful.Sheriff Paul Babeu said Tuesday that Morales wasn't identified as a main target and that prosecutors didn't have enough to convict him, so he was turned over to the Border Patrol and deported.Morales was arrested Monday with $1.6 million worth of heroin and methamphetamine after a high-speed desert chase.
