The U.S. Postal Service said Wednesday it is still accepting mail addressed to Canada, despite a suspension of service in that country in a labor dispute.
However, if a settlement is not reached by Friday between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, the U.S. post office said it would then have to suspend acceptance of all items destined for Canada except Global Express Guaranteed service.
Global Express Guaranteed service is an international service delivered for the post office by FedEx Express.
