Police say a trucker was shot to death during an apparent robbery in his moving big rig, sending the truck crashing along a freeway onramp.
Police say two people were arrested after the unidentified 52-year-old driver was shot in the chest late Tuesday. His truck ran up an embankment along an Interstate 10 ramp in Ontario, east of Los Angeles.
Police say a blood-spattered man was arrested about 90 minutes later. Another suspect was found at a nearby car dealership. A gun was recovered.
Detective Jeff Crittenden says it's unclear whether the men were working with the driver or were hitchhikers.
