A man accused of killing a police officer and her boyfriend was restrained by five deputies during an outburst in a southern Wisconsin courtroom.
Deputies jumped on Andrew Wirth and pinned him to a table after he stood up in court Monday, shouted profanities and fought with officers.
The deputies carried Wirth from the courtroom as he continued to struggle. Authorities say a stun gun was used on the 25-year-old defendant.
WTMJ-TV reports that moments before the outburst, a judge set bail at $1 million.
Wirth is accused of fatally shooting off-duty Town of Oconomowoc (oh-KAHN'-ah-moh-walk) police officer Jennifer Luick and Gregg Peters after a dispute at a Jefferson bar early Sunday.
Wirth's attorney, public defender Jeffrey De La Rosa, did not immediately return a call seeking comment Tuesday.
