The Associated Press has withdrawn its story about a sex offender who lived in a Cleveland house where several corpses were found. Authorities say that despite a police news release that described Anthony Sowell as a convicted rapist, he was convicted only of attempted rape. The story will be refiled as CLEVELAND-BODIES FOUND.

Had all this happened on Shaker Heights it would have been resolved long ago.

Another example of....
city health inspectors and police unwilling to go the extra mile while drawing nice civil service checks and benefits from the tax payers they serve. If just one of these official nitwits had bothered to investigate the "foul" odors that neighbors had reported, maybe a woman's life might have been saved from this serial killer.
