Evelyn Verrastzo of Hungary has topped her world record in the 200-meter individual medley at the European short-course championships.
Earlier Thursday, Russia set a record in the men's 200 medley relay in Istanbul.
Verrastzo won in 2 minutes, 4.64 seconds to better her previous world record of 2:06:01, set last month in Moscow.
The Russian team of Stanislav Donets, Stanislav Lakhtyukhov, Evgeny Korotyshkin and Evgeny Lagunov set their record in 1:32.08 in the heats.
The previous world record of 1:32.91 was set last year in Croatia by an Italian team made up of Mirco Di Tora, Alessandro Terrin, Marco Belotti and Filippo Magnini.
The event is one of the last to allow full-body high-performance body suits. They will be banned on Jan. 1.
