Connecticut remains a unanimous No. 1 in the AP women's college basketball poll.

The Huskies received all 40 first-place votes Monday from the national media panel. They have been the top team the past 27 polls by The Associated Press, including the last 18 unanimously.

The first nine teams in the rankings remained the same. They combined to go 19-0 this week with a 27-point average margin of victory. The only game within single digits was No. 5 Notre Dame's 68-67 win at then-No. 21 Michigan State.

Stanford was second in the poll, with Ohio State third and North Carolina fourth. The Irish were again followed by Tennessee, LSU, Baylor and Xavier. Duke was 10th.
