GOP Senator Vows To Dismantle “Censorship-Industrial Complex”

Thu, Mar 13, 2025 at 2:28 pm
A Republican senator is blowing the whistle on what he calls the “censorship-industrial complex”. Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt President Biden and other democrats built what he calls an “unholy alliance” of censorship groups. One that is still embedded deeply and broadly in a network of government agencies and NGO’s. Quote-“A shadowy network of NGOs, tech groups and governments working to censor the Left’s enemies—not just in America, but across the West. “
He’s calling on GOP colleagues to expose and dismantle the system over the next four years.

House Republicans work to pass spending bill and avert government shutdown

Mon, Mar 10, 2025 at 6:36 am

The 99-page bill is certain to spark confrontation on Capitol Hill. It would provide a slight boost to defense programs while trimming nondefense programs below 2024 budget year levels. That approach is likely to be a nonstarter for most Democrats who have long insisted that defense and nondefense spending move in the same direction. Congress must act by midnight Friday to avoid a partial government shutdown. Speaker Mike Johnson is teeing up the bill for a vote on Tuesday despite the lack of buy-in from Democrats, essentially daring them to vote against it and risk a shutdown. He also is betting that Republicans can muscle the legislation through the House largely by themselves.
