WASHINGTON (Reuters) - MSNBC projected that Democrat Earl Ray Tomblin won the West Virginia gubernatorial race in Tuesday's election.
Tomblin, the incumbent, became governor in a special election last year after Joe Manchin was elected to the U.S. Senate. Tomblin defeated Republican Bill Maloney, a former mining executive.
