Senate OKs bill aimed at China subsidies

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Senate on Monday voted to preserve the Commerce Department's ability to impose countervailing duties on subsidized goods from "non-market economies" like China, after a recent U.S. court ruling struck that practice down.

The House of Representatives could take up the measure as early as Tuesday, a congressional aide said
