President Barack Obama says the U.S. accomplished "exactly what we said we were going to do" in Libya.
Obama made the comment when asked by a reporter whether his strategy had been vindicated by the death of Moammar Gadhafi.
Speaking after meeting in the Oval Office with the prime minister of Norway, Obama also said the outcome underscored the capacity of the international community to work together.
