The Ohio Republican tells the Jewish Nation Fund's conference in Cincinnati that Israel stands above others as a beacon of freedom and opportunity in the region.Boehner is giving his speech later Sunday at the Jewish National Fund's conference in Cincinnati. A text of his remarks was made available before the speech.On the eve of the U.N. General Assembly meeting, Boehner says Israel will be under fire on several fronts. He cites the Palestinians' bid for statehood recognition and an upcoming speech by a leading Israeli foe, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (ah-muh-DEE'-neh-zhahd).
