WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House said on Monday that President Barack Obama's top economic adviser, Austan Goolsbee, had decided to resign later this year to return to the University of Chicago.
The White House said he would depart in time to begin the upcoming academic year at the university where he is a professor of economics in the graduate school of business.
