President Barack Obama plans to make the federal government the model employer of America's veterans.

Obama is to sign an executive order Monday evening to establish a Council on Veterans Employment and a Veterans Employment Program office within most federal agencies.

Later, the president will tackle Mideast issues in an Oval Office meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu is in Washington to address the 2009 General Assembly of The Jewish Federations of North America.

Collect The Dots!
Before we can connect the dots, we have to collect the dots. (1) Destroy the economy of the U.S. to the tune of 10.2 percent unemployment and rising. (2) Bring the troops home for Iraq and then Afghnaistan in rapid succession. (3) Construct a safety net of taxpayer funded bureaucracy to "create" jobs for the returning military. (4) Increase taxes with healthcare, cap and trade, and other stimulus projects so that jobs from the private sector are systematically destroyed. (5) With jobs only provided by the government, then desperate men will turn to their only alternative of government provided work. (6) Build up a cadre of government workers who are loyal only to the government employer. Instead of shovels or pencils, give them arms with which they are familiar and we have a civilian army bigger and more powerful than the regular armed forces. (7) Connect the dots and compare the scenario with what Obama has already stated he wanted to do!

What? The sun's out and no golf,
no basketball, no date night with O2?

I can't imagine the Big O is actually in his office doing something vaguely presidential.

He IS a messiah. Wonders will never cease.

As to a WPA, this bunch of Chi-town thugs couldn’t run cash for clunkers, a boondoggle where no one gets the $4500 and auto sales people are forced to eat the loss than they took to sell phantom cars. If Big O started a WPA now, it’s first project would be finished by the time my grandson is ready for retirement.

Bork the Sen. before you need a fourth job to pay for fees and taxes for Obamacare. 202-224/225-3121.
