Senate GOP leader: More swine flu help if asked

The Senate's Republican leader is pledging to give the Obama administration any more help it may need to fight the swine flu outbreak.

Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky says the administration has told Congress that lawmakers have provided all the support and money needed so far. And if the administration says it needs additional resources, McConnell says he knows Congress would be happy to provide it on a bipartisan basis.

President Barack Obama on Friday night signed a declaration that the outbreak was a national emergency.

Health authorities say more than 1,000 people in the United States, including almost 100 children, have died from the strain of flu known as H1N1, and 46 states have widespread flu activity.

McConnell spoke on ABC's "This Week."

I recall all you LIBS on here when the Flu Outbreak came when bush was POTUS and everyone on here claimed he didnt like our Children or Elderly because they were DIEING of the FLU

Now we have have over 1000 people DIE of this H1N1 that we all knew was coming before now. This is what happens when you let the GOVERNMENT become the MAIN SOURCE for DISTRIBUTION.
Where is the LIBERAL OUTRAGE like there was when Bush was POTUS and things like this HAPPENED? Oh I forgot LI BS are in charge now and they are really showing the WORLD how IGNORANT THIS POTUS and DEM LED CONGRESS is.

Just wait until UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE comes along and watch. This is just the kickoff of all the failures we are heading for with this SOCIALIST GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER
