Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

A key Democratic senator says he believes Democrats are close to the 60 votes they need to advance a health care bill that includes a new program for government-backed health insurance.

Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York says he thinks a public option plan will be in the Senate bill.

Schumer says he thinks it will be a middle-ground proposal that allows states to opt out of participation. The opt-out proposal, according to Schumer, draws support from many liberal and moderate senators and less opposition from others.

Schumer says that a government-backed insurance plan would remain only an option for consumers looking for alternatives to private insurance.

Schumer spoke Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."

HOW TO DEFEAT OBAMACARE!

Dlck Morris thinks we can DEFEAT ObamaCare, but ONLY if we are able to drive its poll/approval numbers down into the thirty-percentile area.

He has a new strategy for doing that: Target YOUNG PEOPLE by informing them of the mandatory enrollment they will be facing under ObamaCare. Most of them are now completely unaware of the fact that they will be required to purchase costly health insurance or be FINED.

Morris studied recent polling data and found that these young people (under-30 age group) favored ObamaCare by a 2-1 margin; however, when they were told that they would be REQUIRED to purchase insurance under ObamaCare or be fined, these same young people turned against it by a 2-1 margin. That's why it is of tremendous political importance that this group be reached through national TV ads.

IF WE CAN TURN YOUNG PEOPLE AROUND, WE CAN DRIVE THE POLL NUMBERS INTO THE 30-PERCENTILE APPROVAL RANGE AND DEFEAT OBAMACARE.

To that end, Morris is planning TV ads to target young people. However, HE NEEDS OUR HELP in the form of donations.

We can stop Obama's Marxist agenda in only one way: By DEFEATING OBAMACARE!

I would implore everyone to donate to this effort and to read Morris' comments on this at the following link.: http://www.dickmorris.com/blog/2009/10/23/will-obamacare-p ass/#more-656

(Morris makes no money from your donations; he is volunteering his time and expertise to this effort)
