Obama declares swine flu a national emergency

Worldwide, more than 5,000 people have reportedly died from swine flu since it emerged this year and developed into a global epidemic, the World Health Organization said Friday. Since most countries have stopped counting individual swine flu cases, the figure is considered an underestimate.

Bush Did It!
Obama will soon explain to his voters that Bush and cheney invented the swine flu to 'kill blacks' and 'middle class americans'. The republican party then stopped him from producing the vaccine even though he knew americans needed it by this flu season - considering he promised he would begin production in June when the WHO declared it pendemic and Obama refused to close the border.

When will americans realize - experience matters because without it SOUND JUDGEMENT can't exist.

Federal Health Care Insurance?
The way the federal government has handled the swine flu is how they will handle ALL health issues in the future. If the federal govt. is responsible for production and distribution of drugs/treatment. We can expect politicians to follow these steps.

First, denial i.e. the Swine Flu is not any worse than past flu viruses (that was the initial response to thousands getting sick when returning from Mexico). This explained why they would not close the border.

Second, rename the disease from swine flue to H1N1 AND TO PLEASE KEEP FLYING because we can't have people not eating pork or not travelling. The govt. will rename a disease and give FALSE HOPE just to stop the public from responding appropraitely to the spreading of disease. Never mind, the facts, politics is the first influence when deciding what is 'safe or not'.

Third, control the supply, limit it so that citizens begin to panic. The panic will lead them to realize 'how much they need the federal government'. Only when the panic has increased will the president announce - it's an emergency and order supplies to be 'released' from the 'supply closet'.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE DISEASE IS TERMINAL I.E. Cancerous lump that needs 'authorization' before it's treated? time can impact whether the patient lives or dies. And this is the PUBLIC OPTION that will be sold to americans as 'health care for all americans now' EVEN THOUGH, NOT EVERYONE WILL BE COVERED!

I HOPE this CHANGE will make americans rethink how they live i.e. make healthier choices. If they think three months is too long to wait for the H1N1 shot - imagine waiting for 6 months for a diagnosis i.e. a scan to determine if the lump is cancerous or not?
