NEW YORK (Reuters) - Southwest Airlines Co topped the list of the 50 best U.S. places to work, based upon employee opinions, according to research released on Wednesday. General Mills, which topped the list in 2008, slipped to second place although Chief Executive Ken Powell won the highest approval rating among the top company executives, said the analysis by Glassdoor.com, a jobs website.
Obama administration aims for high school financial literacy
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury and Education departments announced plans on Tuesday to cooperate to improve financial education for high school students to enable them to make smarter decisions about money. The effort comes in the wake of a survey from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Investor Education Foundation showing that young adults display much lower financial literacy than older generations.
Walgreens to offer H1N1 vaccine nationwide in December
CHICAGO (Reuters) - Walgreen Co aims to offer the H1N1 vaccine shot in all 50 states by the end of December, a move that could help the largest U.S. drugstore chain bring more consumers into its stores and clinics. Walgreen, which operates Walgreens drugstores and Take Care clinics, is already offering the H1N1 vaccine at about 1,500 locations in 27 states and the District of Columbia.

Evangelist Oral Roberts dies at 91
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Evangelist Oral Roberts, who became one of America's most successful and controversial television preacher with claims of faith healing and unusual money-raising tactics, died on Tuesday at the age of 91. Oral Roberts Ministries published a tribute to Roberts on its website and news reports said that he died in Newport Beach, California, of complications from pneumonia.
