WHEAT GAINS: Wheat prices rose as crop conditions deteriorated in parts of Kansas because of dry weather. A new government report showed 52 percent of the Kansas crop was in good-to-excellent condition as of Sunday. That compared with 60 percent in that range the previous week.
EYES ON GREECE: Concerns about what may be next for Greece overshadowed positive U.S. economic news. Greek leaders are at odds over austerity measures required for bailout funding. A new election has been set next month.
GRAB BAG: Prices for gold, silver, copper and oil fell. Corn, soybeans and natural gas rose.
