Rhode Island's governor is planning to meet with small business owners to discuss ways to boost the state's economy.
Gov. Lincoln Chafee plans to address business owners Friday morning in Hopkinton. It's the latest of several such meetings Chafee has held around the state since the beginning of the year.
Chafee says he wants to hear ways the state can help businesses succeed.
Chafee will be joined by economic development and business regulation officials as well as local chamber of commerce leaders.
