Title: UK-INFLATION-house-q-WEDam
Out-cue: with market expectations]
TAG: Correspondent Jeremy House reporting. This is the biggest increase since March and the second rise in two months and will likely cement market expectations that the Bank of England will keep its main interest rate unchanged at 4.75% after its policy meeting on Thursday.

VERBATIM: It’s being driven by an increase in fuel prices last month. Britain’s Office for National Statistics says the consumer price inflation rose by 2.6% in the year to November. That’s up from 2.3% the previous month. The increase took inflation further away from the Bank of England’s target of 2%. It was in line with market expectations.

Changes are coming to the FBI. Director Christopher Wray recently announced his upcoming resignation. His departure will come three years before the end of his 10-year term. Wray has come under sharp criticism from President-elect Trump, and he said his departure will avoid political distractions. Trump, who already has named Kash Patel to lead the FBI, applauded the news of Wray’s planned resignation.

WASHINGTON – Republican Leaders in Congress aren’t the only ones taking issue with Vice President Harris’ comparison of Former President Trump to Adolf Hitler.
VERBATIM: A video message from Jerry Wartski, a 94-year-old survivor of Auschwitz and the Nazi death marches was trending over X on Friday, in which Wartski made it very clear what he thinks of Harris’ narrative.
He wrote, “Adolph Hitler invaded Poland when I was nine-years-old. “He murdered my parents and most of our family. I know more about Hitler than Kamala will ever know in a thousand lifetimes. For her to accuse President Trump of being like Hitler is the worst thing I’ve ever heard in my 75 years of living in the United States.”

Church-goers voted for Trump
VERBATIM: The Public Religion Research Institute has completed deep-dive into the election results and one of the things it has discovered is that the more frequently a person attended worship services, the more likely he was to cast his ballot for Mr. Trump. 88% of White Evangelicals who go to church at least once a week voted for the president, compared to 77% of those who seldom attend. The same pattern held for Catholics, who also voted for Mr. Trump in large numbers. MH SRN NEWS.
